Ponte da Boga is typified by its integrity and personality in its wines. We have gambled in on quality over any other criteria increasing our requirements. We believe in re-integrating the native varieties like the Merenzao because we believe sincerely in its potential to produce genuine, elegant wines for aficionados looking for new sensations.
We also believe in research and development by investigating our soils and optimize the quality of each of our wines. We believe in Galicia its nature looking at minimizing our impact on the natural environment by our activity.
The vines are from the parcels in the villages of Abeleda and Quiroga.
Grape varieties
62% Godello, 33% Albariño and 5% Doña blanca

Altitude: 350 m a 500 m in Abeleda, 275 m in Quiroga
Vinification
Albarino was a 100% destemed, Godello and Dona Blanca without destemed, 100% pressed in a pneumatic press. The juice ferments at 18° during 8 days.
Ageing
Steel tank is undertaken on the lees during 5 months. A few proportions of the wine fermented in new French 500L oak during 1 year with post-ageing on the lees.
Tasting notes
Visual: yellow green colour
Nose: Good intensity, the nose open on touches of citrus (orange and lemon), peach and pear. After that come shades of flowers, roses, jasmine, orange blossom, and a smoky finished.
Palate: The wine offers a concentrated attack, with a good balance, due to its elegant acidity which gives him vivacity. It is a very pure wine, with mineral expression, tasty and persistent.
