Vineyards located in the municipal district of Abeleda, Amandi, Chantada, Manzaneda, Trives, Ferreira de Pantón and Quiroga.

Alcohol volume: 12,65%

Soils: Schist (Abeleda, Amandi), Granitic sand (Ferreira), sandy clay over Pebbles (Quiroga).

Altitude: From 225m in Chantada to 500m in Amandi and Abeleda.

Age of the vines: 8 to 150 years old.

Vinification

The grapes are destemmed and crushed, fermentation at 24-29° for 10 days with gentle pumping-over, followed by a maceration for 8 days.

Ageing

Stainless steel tank for 6 months.

Tasting notes

Colour: deep, cherry red

Aroma: Intense, with hints of raspberry, rose, cherry and a violet and green pepper undertone.

Palate: A suave sensation of great balance, freshness and elegance, with hints of mineral taste.
