| Viña Ventureira is a small family run estate run by the couple Isabel and Vicente Rodriguez which started in 2003. It is composed of 20 parcels summing up to 3ha of vines.
This is the region of the Albariño par excellence where it exhibits citrusy and white peach aromas. The particularity of Viña Ventureira is the broad texture it offers in the palate due to the microclimate of Sanxenxo. Viña Ventureira is located in Galicia within the sub-zone of Val do Salnès by the village of Sanxenxo known for its micro-climate being reputed to be the driest and warmest part of Galicia. Grape variety 100% albariño Technical data Soil: Granitics Vines age: 30 years Alcohol level: 13% Vinification Second selection of the grape in the winery, then the whole bunch is pressed with a pneumatic press under low pressure.
Tasting notes Brilliant yellow straw with greenish tints. Full of sensations that take us to the heart of Salnés Valley, intense notes of wild herbs such as fiuncho, honeyed, peach skin ,water flowers… Fresh and juicy on the palate, hint of citrus and green apple flavours. Nice acidity on the palate which invites to drink it, flavours are long, lingering and pleasant.
