Recently, Gerard Basset (MS, MW, OBE, World Best Sommelier 2010) and close friend to Franck, prepared the tasting notes of Huellas 2013 and Humilitat 2013 (DOQ Priorat), Vinya Cucut 2012 (DO Montsant) and El Mago 2014 and 2015 (DO Terra Alta).

Huellas 2013 (DOQ Priorat)
Full ruby with a purple rim.
Beautiful nose of great complexity with a combination of blackberry, dark chocolate and wild mushroom as well as smoky notes.
On the palate the wine presents a wonderful harmony with ripe tannins and plenty of juicy fruit with a praline aftertaste.
It is wine of great definition that would match superbly a pan fried ribeye of Wagyu beef served simply with triple cooked chips.

Humilitat 2012 (DOQ Priorat)
Medium ruby with a pink rim.
Plenty of black fruit on the nose with touches of sweet spices.
The wine is very smooth with an excellent concentration of summer berry fruit and a cinnamon aftertaste.
It would combine superbly with a gratin of cep mushrooms with melted blue-cheese and pine nuts.

Vinya Cucut 2012 (DO Montsant)
Medium-full ruby with pink rim.
Superb nose of blackberry and plum with also some elegant floral undertones.
Great harmony on the palate, ripe tannin and a rounded texture with a nutmeg aftertaste.
A delicious wine with real energy well suited for a roasted rack of lamb with a garnish of baked egg-plant, zucchini, tomatoes and Mediterranean herbs.

El Mago 2014 (DO Terra Alta). Garnacha tinta. Certificado ecológico
Medium ruby colour with a pink rim.
Abundance of bramble fruit on the nose with additional hints of blood orange.
Middle weight on the palate with ripe tannins with a slightly wild spices aftertaste.
Ideal with a roasted guinea-fowl accompanied by a selection of baked winter root vegetables.

El Mago 2015 (DO Terra Alta). Garnacha tinta. Certificado ecológico
Medium-light ruby colour with a purple rim.
Appealing nose with plenty of notes of wild berry and cherry stone.
The palate is lively and juicy with soft tannins with a damson plum aftertaste.
This is lovely wine to enjoy simply with a plate of Jamón Ibérico and Bruschetta Bread.
