Alma 2015

Vinification and ageing
Grapes are 100% de-stemmed and pressed in a pneumatic press. After clarification the must ferments at 18ºC for 8 days.

The wine ages on its lees in stainless steel tanks for about 10 months.

Tasting notes
Rather intense lemony color and gold tinges. Mineral nose combining gunt-flint, seaweed tones and citrusy lift. The palate displays a bright refreshing acidity, moderate weight with lime, grapefruit, a hint of peppery and salty aromas and light balancing bitterness. A genuine example of Albariño, aged on lees showing intensity, enjoyable now yet with potential to further develop in bottle.

Awards
90 points Robert Parker The Wine Advocate 2015 (Alma 2013).
15/20 El Mundo Vino 2013 (Alma 2011).
