Our first organic wine, made with Garnacha grape and coming from the DO Terra Alta. El Mago is our new challenge to produce an organic wine with local growers. El Mago means the wizard echoing the magic of changing grapes into wine. It is also the contraction of the name of my daughter Maya and son Hugo, my 5 years old son (modesty apart) is the master designer responsible for that unique and amazing drawing.
Origin
DO Terra Alta. The area benefits from 2 winds, el Cierzo, coming from the land, dry and cold in winter and warm in summer and el Garbi coming from the sea, wet which gives freshness to the vines and allows and good thermal amplitude which contributes to a good maturation of the grapes.
